Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative on our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team, you will be responsible for:
- Providing telephone support to patients, verifying and resolving benefits, and processing new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system.
- Communicating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues.
- Utilizing superb communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners, ensuring timely processing of specialty medications and meeting financial and clinical expectations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need: ### Essential Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a customer service role handling complex customer needs over the phone.
- 1+ year of experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications.
- 1+ year of computer keyboarding experience.
- Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent.
### Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience resolving complex customer needs over the phone.
- Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.
Schedule and Benefits
As a Customer Service Representative on our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team, you can expect:
- Monday - Friday, 11 AM - 7:30 PM EST.
- Competitive salary: $22.00 - $36.00 per hour.
