Key Responsibilities As a Data Entry Clerk on our medical billing team, you will be responsible for: * Accurately inputting patient demographics and billing information into our systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements. * Verifying and updating insurance details to facilitate accurate claims processing and minimize financial discrepancies. * Maintaining and organizing electronic records with strict adherence to confidentiality standards, ensuring the security and confidentiality of sensitive patient information. * Collaborating with the billing team to resolve discrepancies, ensure timely claims submissions, and optimize revenue collection for our healthcare partners. * Assisting in identifying and rectifying data entry errors to minimize financial discrepancies and support continuous process improvement efforts. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: * A high school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in data entry or medical billing is preferred but not required. * Proficiency in data entry with a keen eye for detail and strong computer skills, including familiarity with data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. * Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and support continuous process improvement efforts. * A willingness to undergo training to become proficient in medical billing processes.
