About the Role

We're seeking a temporary, contract Data Entry Clerk to work 40 hours a week for 6 months, with the potential for a full-time opportunity upon successful completion. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll have the flexibility to work remotely and balance your time between our virtual office and home. You'll be part of a collaborative team that's dedicated to delivering high-quality results, and you'll have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for:

  • Entering and modifying data within digital databases, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Transferring information from paper documents to digital spreadsheets
  • Compiling, verifying, and organizing information based on priorities
  • Reviewing data for errors or deficiencies and correcting incompatibilities when possible
  • Researching and gathering additional information for incomplete documents
  • Applying data program techniques and procedures
  • Generating reports and storing completed work in designated locations

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • A strong understanding of data entry principles and practices
  • Proficiency in touch typing and database management tools
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
