Job Summary

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to work remotely on a full-time basis. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments. Your primary duties will include processing trade deal purchases, identifying and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents, and processing corporate activity activities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Perform daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments
  • Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents
  • Process corporate activity activities, settle/reconcile transactions, and process/reconcile returns activity
  • Analyze complex/escalated issues, test/validate new technology enhancements, and provider modifications
  • Collaborate with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce
  • Interact with external partners, including fund companies, transfer agents, and other agencies

Requirements

To be successful as a Data Entry Specialist, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Strong understanding of data entry principles and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in data entry or a related field
  • Knowledge of financial services and regulations
