Key Responsibilities
As a Learning Specialist (Japanese), you will play a critical role in developing and delivering effective training programs that address the needs of our customer service associates. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering Amazon orientation and new hire training to all job levels, both virtually and in-person
- Developing and conducting continuous learning sessions for existing employees to meet improvement goals
- Analyzing performance data to identify gaps and proposing training interventions
- Gathering training needs, designing, and delivering training interventions to address these needs
- Maintaining and reporting data on trainee attendance, performance, and analysis
- Participating in call listening sessions and quality calibrations to stay updated on process developments
- Taking customer contacts monthly to stay informed about latest process updates and changes
- Leading and/or participating in improvement projects to enhance business performance
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- JLPT N1 certification in Japanese and fluency in English
- 2+ years of experience in training delivery roles or similar experience
- Flexibility to work in a 24/7 global team across various time zones
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organization skills
- Extensive expertise in cultural and soft skills relevant to a contact center environment
- Competent user level of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's degree or significant college coursework in communication, education, or a related field
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
