Role Description

As a Consultant, Customer Information Management, you'll be responsible for leading a portfolio of work aligned to key business units, prioritizing initiatives that enhance customer experience through data-driven communications. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into clear, actionable data and audience requirements. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and delivering data that powers personalized customer communications across channels, including email, text, digital, and direct mail.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead a portfolio of work aligned to key business units, prioritizing initiatives that enhance customer experience through data-driven communications

  • Consult with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into clear, actionable data and audience requirements
  • Design and deliver data that powers personalized customer communications across channels (email, text, digital, direct mail)
  • Streamline and standardize how audience data flows across systems to improve efficiency and impact
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, analytics, and technology teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment
  • Champion customer-centricity, ensuring all audience data solutions are designed with the customer in mind
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to data tools, processes, and governance

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a strategic mindset with the ability to connect data capabilities to business outcomes. You'll be an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to influence and gain alignment across teams. Your experience in gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions will be invaluable, as will your comfort working in ambiguity and adapting to evolving priorities.

Requirements

While experience is essential, we're looking for a candidate with a passion for learning and a drive for continuous improvement. Here are the specific requirements for this role:

  • Typically 5 or more years experience in data warehousing, statistical analysis, and marketing/customer data models and queries
  • Detailed experience with problem solving in a business environment; working with large customer and/or prospect databases; working with product, geographic, demographic data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Expert knowledge in the theory and application of computer-based analytical tools
  • Advanced knowledge of PC-based spreadsheet, business intelligence, and database warehousing applications
  • Proficiency in developing ad hoc queries using SQL
