Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Providing consistently high-quality customer care and ensuring a seamless experience across all touchpoints
- Performing a range of airport-related tasks and being prepared to assist with daily operations in areas such as check-in, security, gates, and arrivals
- Conducting security checks, screening passengers, and verifying travel documents
- Working closely with Lead Specialists to ensure smooth operations and providing administrative support
- Promoting and selling American Airlines' services and products to clients
- Participating in mandatory training and adhering to company policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on American Airlines' services and products
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless customer experiences across all touchpoints
- Perform airport-related tasks, including check-in, security, gates, and arrivals
- Conduct security checks, screen passengers, and verify travel documents
- Provide administrative support to Lead Specialists and other team members
- Participate in mandatory training and adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree and relevant work experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Fluency in English and German (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation systems (Saber/Qik)
- Ability to work in a shift environment, including weekends and holidays
Essential Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in customer service or a related field
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Strong knowledge of American Airlines' services and products
- Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Knowledge of airport operations and procedures
- Experience working with reservation systems (Saber/Qik)
- Fluency in additional languages (e.g. Spanish, French, Mandarin)
