About the Role

As a Part-time Chat Specialist, you will:

  • Engage in online conversations with customers, addressing their inquiries and providing accurate information about our products and services
  • Narrow down on appointment information to schedule appointments and capture customer contact information for lead generation and client review
  • Summarize interactions based on customer needs for client review and develop a knowledge base of our evolving products and services
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our clients and their customers

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer inquiries via live chat, email, or phone

  • Provide accurate and timely information about our products and services
  • Schedule appointments and capture customer contact information for lead generation and client review
  • Develop a knowledge base of our evolving products and services
  • Collaborate with our team to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction

Requirements

* Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry is preferred but not necessary

  • Basic internet and window-based computer skills, with a strong ability to multitask (gaming experience is a plus!)
  • Positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a quick-paced work environment

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or communications

  • Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and its products and services
  • Certification in customer service or a related field

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

* Competitive hourly rate of $13.00

  • 25-39 hours per week, with a variety of shifts (day, evening, and night)
