Technical Sales Representative (IT) 1099

As we continue to grow, we're seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to help drive our business development efforts. Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage in outbound calling to generate leads and schedule discovery appointments.
- Generate sales opportunities and manage your sales funnel.
- Communicate effectively with prospective clients to understand their IT needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients; identify, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to align strategies with market feedback and customer trends.
- Deliver outstanding service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, partner products, and competitive offerings to strengthen sales tactics.
- Educate clients using materials and training provided by our vendor partners.
Note: Verto IT Solutions’ leadership will prepare all quotes and provide any necessary materials to support your client engagements, allowing you to focus exclusively on relationship-building and sales execution.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven consultative sales or business development experience required;
- Prior technical sales experience with a solid understanding of IT solutions and services required.
- Experience generating leads and prospecting is required.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and maintain strong client relationships.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and improvement.
- Remote position - however, you must be located within the United States. Residency in Pennsylvania, Maryland, or New Jersey is a plus.
