FP&A Manager, CFO Services

Role Description This is a remote, full-time role for an FP&A Manager within the firm’s CFO Services team. This is not a traditional corporate FP&A role. You will serve as a client-facing finance lead, owning a portfolio of clients and acting as their day-to-day financial partner. You will help founders and operators translate financial data into actionable business decisions that improve profitability, cash flow, and operational performance. Key responsibilities include:
- Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Building and maintaining 3-statement financial models
- KPI reporting and operational analysis
- Cash flow forecasting and working capital management
- Leading monthly business review meetings with clients
- Identifying operational and financial improvement opportunities
- Supporting strategic finance initiatives and decision-making
You will work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver clear, data-driven recommendations in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments. This role is ideal for someone with 5–8 years of FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, transaction advisory, or related experience who is seeking greater ownership, direct client exposure, and a long-term path toward becoming an outsourced CFO. Required Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, consulting, or related fields
- Experience owning forecasting and statement financial modeling processes
- Strong financial modeling skills in Excel
- P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement analysis
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- KPI reporting and operational finance
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and clients simultaneously
- Strong business judgment and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field;
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with SMBs or founder-led businesses in home services and trades
- Experience with financial systems like ServiceTitan, JobNimbus, QuickBooks, and KPI dashboard tools
- Experience in PE-backed or high-growth environments
- Prior client-facing advisory or consulting experience
- CPA or CFA designation
Compensation
- $120,000 base salary
- Performance-based bonus opportunity tied to client ownership and firm growth
