Scriptwriter, Music Video (Miami or Remote)
Hey filmmakers! We're an independent production seeking a talented, entry-level scriptwriter for an upcoming music video. This isn't your typical performance video, it's a narrative-driven piece with a dark, romantic, and slightly surreal vibe, inspired by 80s horror and neo-noir. Think moody visuals, psychological tension, and a strong sense of place. We're looking for someone to craft a compelling short story, developing character arcs and scene breakdowns that enhance the artist's track. You'll work closely with the director and artist to visualize the song's themes. Prior music video script experience isn't essential, but a strong portfolio of short-form narrative writing (short films, specs, etc.) demonstrating creativity and a good grasp of visual storytelling is a must. Compensation is deferred (points + deferred payment) as is standard for many independent projects at this stage. This role is remote-friendly, but Miami-based writers are a bonus.
