Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Customer Care Representatives to join our team and provide empathetic support to customers through moments that matter in their work and life. Whether it's helping parents enroll their newborn baby into health coverage or supporting someone through their retirement benefit elections, you will be caring for our customers' meaningful life moments.
Responsibilities
As a Customer Care Representative, your day-to-day interactions will include educating and advocating for our customers about their employer-provided benefits, such as:
- Health and wellness
- 401(k) retirement savings plans
- Pension plans
- Leaves of absence
- Payroll
- System navigation
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Connection: Building meaningful and lasting relationships with customers through every interaction
- Increasing Customer Satisfaction: Making a real impact on the lives of our customers every day
- Dynamic Investigative Work: Continuously managing cases and ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
- Reducing Customer Effort: Ensuring that our customers feel supported and valued, getting their issues resolved with minimal effort on their part
Essential Functions
* Working in a smoke-free environment
- Using several computer applications at once while assisting a customer
- Employing active listening techniques and demonstrating passion to provide the highest level of customer care and satisfaction
Skills and Qualifications
* Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer experiences and resolving complex issues with empathy and dedication
- Active Listening: Employing active listening techniques to understand customer needs and concerns
- Telephone Etiquette: Demonstrating professionalism and courtesy in all customer interactions
- Basic Computer Skills: Proficiently navigating computer applications and systems
- Experience: 3 years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the benefits or insurance industry
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
What We Offer
* Competitive hourly rate: $14.99 - $15 per hour
- Flexible scheduling: Work any 8-hour shift between 8 AM - 11 PM EST, with possible overtime when needed
