Experienced Client Customer Service Support Representative – Remote Billing Operations

Job Summary:

As an Experienced Client Customer Service Support Representative, you'll join our Contact Center team for Client AR & Customer Service in RCM. You'll work closely with physician offices, hospital laboratories, patients, and internal customers to ensure that all client needs are addressed accurately and efficiently. Your primary focus will be on providing world-class customer experiences, handling a wide variety of questions, and ensuring that all client interactions are handled with the utmost care and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner, averaging 50-60 calls per day, while maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.

  • Follow approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) to update and provide necessary information to resolve denied claims, ensuring that all client interactions are handled with the utmost care and professionalism.
  • Continuously evaluate current policies and SOPs, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner, maintaining the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Accurately document all accounts, ensuring that guidelines and regulations are followed, and that all client interactions are properly recorded.
  • Communicate via telephone with physicians, insurance companies, and patients, providing clear and concise information to resolve issues and address concerns.
  • Utilize tools to verify eligibility, claim status, and/or to obtain better billing information, ensuring that all client interactions are handled efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum one year of work experience required, with a strong preference for previous call center and customer service experience.
  • Previous medical experience is highly desirable, as is a strong understanding of medical terminology and billing procedures.
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening skills, are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and exercise critical thinking skills, making sound judgments and decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Remote Work:

As a remote employee, you'll be dedicated to performing duties without interference, working in a structured environment with designated lunch and break schedules. You'll be responsible for managing your time and tasks independently, maintaining productivity, and meeting the needs of our clients.

Technical Requirements:

• Internet download speed of at least 50 megabytes per second.

  • No satellite internet.
  • Ability to connect equipment to a router/modem using an Ethernet cord, as Wi-Fi, mobile routers, or mobile hotspots with Ethernet ports are not permitted.

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Pay Range:

$15.25 per hour - $16.00 per hour (State minimum wages apply if higher)
