The Opportunity
As a Customer Service and Sales Representative, you'll have the unique opportunity to grow your career by connecting your customer service and sales aptitude to become a Remote Licensed Healthcare Insurance Agent. arenaflex is committed to supporting your professional development, and we'll provide you with the training, resources, and guidance you need to succeed. Here's what you can expect:
- Free licensing course: We'll provide you with a comprehensive training program to help you become a licensed insurance agent, and you'll be paid for your time to boot.
- All state licensing exam fees covered: arenaflex will cover all your licensing exam fees, and we'll also provide yearly renewal of your license as your employer.
- Base wage of $16/hr: While you're studying for your state exam, you'll receive a base wage of $16/hr. Once you're licensed, you'll receive an increase to your base pay and be eligible for performance-based bonuses.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Customer Service and Sales Representative, you'll be the difference between a customer's experience being just average or exceptional. Here are some of the key responsibilities you'll be expected to perform:
- Assist individuals in understanding their coverages: You'll help customers understand their insurance coverages and select the right products and services to meet their personal needs.
- Provide full lifecycle customer service and sales: You'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales, including accepting inbound calls, making outbound calls, and responding to customer inquiries.
- Respond to customer inquiries with compassion and active listening: You'll use your strong customer service orientation to respond to customer inquiries with compassion and active listening, and select the best solution in an efficient manner.
- Identify additional needs customers may have: You'll use your sales skills to identify additional needs customers may have and help them upgrade products or services.
What You Bring to the Role
To succeed in this role, you'll need to bring the following skills and qualifications:
- Aptitude, self-discipline, and tenacity: You'll need to have the aptitude, self-discipline, and tenacity to learn about what it takes to become a licensed insurance associate, including passing the state licensing exam.
- High speed internet: You'll need to have high speed internet (>25 mbps download and 10 mbps upload) to perform your job duties.
- Minimum six (6) months sales experience: You'll need to have a minimum of six months sales experience to be successful in this role.
- Integrity to follow HIPAA guidelines: You'll need to have the integrity to follow HIPAA guidelines on maintaining patient privacy.
- Strong customer service orientation: You'll need to have a strong customer service orientation, including empathy, compassion, and listening skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent: You'll need to have a high school diploma or equivalent to be considered for this role.
- Strong computer navigation skills: You'll need to have strong computer navigation skills and experience, as this role is 100% remote.
