Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative – Union Benefits Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in educating union members about the benefits available to them through their union affiliation. You'll work closely with our team to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. This is a remote work opportunity, and you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities

* Educate union members about the benefits available to them through their union affiliation

  • Answer questions and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to union members
  • Work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
  • Meet or exceed sales targets (optional) by upselling or cross-selling benefits to union members
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements for Consideration

* Flexible hours (must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week)

  • Fluent in English (Bilingual in any language is a plus but not required)
  • MUST RESIDE IN CALIFORNIA

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of experience in customer service or a related field

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with labor unions or associations

  • Knowledge of benefits and insurance products
  • Experience in sales or account management
  • Bilingual in any language
