What You Will Do in This Role

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative - Remote (Healthcare), you will:

• Provide inbound customer support using a call flow guide, helping patients navigate their healthcare needs, including understanding benefits, claims, billing inquiries, authorizations, finding new providers, and more
• Track, document, and retrieve information in databases to ensure seamless customer experiences
• Offer additional products and/or services to patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care
• Deliver expert customer experiences with a smile, building strong relationships with patients and their families
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex customer issues and improve overall patient satisfaction

Your Qualifications

Your skills, integrity, knowledge, and genuine compassion will deliver value and success with every patient interaction. Other qualifications for our Experienced Customer Service Representative - Remote (Healthcare) role include:

• 2+ years of call center experience, preferably in a healthcare-related field or benefits/insurance organization
• Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• A high school diploma or GED
• A quiet, distraction-free environment to work from in your home
• Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge
• Proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking, with the ability to handle multiple customer interactions simultaneously
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing customer needs
• A desktop or laptop to complete PC and internet testing
• A work computer may be provided depending on the position offered, but is not guaranteed (will be discussed further with a recruiter)
• High Speed internet (no wireless/hotspots or satellite) and a smartphone
• Must reside in the United States and have a valid U.S. address for residence
