Job Summary
As a Quality Control Proofreading & Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of intellectual property cases, including drawings, documents, and other related materials. This is a full-time remote position, requiring a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and verify the accuracy of intellectual property cases, including drawings, documents, and other related materials
- Compare original client materials with rendered drawings to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Identify and report any discrepancies or errors to the quality control team
- Maintain consistency in performance despite a fast-paced environment
- Interact with coworkers in a relaxed, positive manner
- Meet productivity and quality standards
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices
Essential Qualifications
* Sharp eye for detail and ability to identify even the smallest errors
- Innate ability to "Find Waldo" and spot discrepancies in complex documents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain consistency in performance despite a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in a quality control or proofreading role
- Familiarity with intellectual property law and procedures
- Experience working with complex documents and drawings
- Certification in quality control or proofreading (e.g. Certified Quality Control Specialist, Certified Proofreader)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
