Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls with a high level of professionalism and customer service
  • Managing customer accounts and providing technical support
  • Entering application data accurately and efficiently
  • Responding to online chat inquiries as assigned
  • Interpreting and following defined procedures and policies
  • Utilizing creative problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing projects and updates
  • Managing time and tasks effectively, with a focus on multitasking and task prioritization
  • Completing extensive self-study, training, and testing to ensure eligibility for certifications
  • Adhering to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Moderate to advanced computer skills, with a high level of comfort learning new technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on professionalism
  • A high level of comfort working from home, with a dedicated and secure workspace
  • Self-motivation and a success-driven attitude
  • A minimum of 18 years of age, with a valid background check and drug test within 3 days
  • A personal device with a functioning camera, required for the Training Period
  • A commitment to full attendance for the paid 3-week Training period
  • A minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s with a hard-wired ethernet connection (cable/fiber broadband internet is required)

Preferred Experience

While not required, previous experience in customer support or technical support roles, as well as experience with Group and/or Individual health insurance or the Affordable Care Act, would be a plus. Familiarity with CRM systems and practices is also desirable.

Compensation

* $15.00/hr. plus performance incentives for non-Spanish Bilingual representatives

  • $17.00/hr. plus performance incentives for Spanish Bilingual representatives
