Driver-Great for Retired or Rideshare/GIG People
This position for vehicle transporters is responsible for safely moving vehicles between locations, such as different dealership sites, auction houses, or directly to customers. This role exists to ensure that vehicles are delivered in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining the dealership's inventory flow and customer satisfaction. The job aims to accomplish the safe and damage-free transportation of vehicles, while also providing excellent customer service during deliveries. This position is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency and reputation of the dealership Key Responsibilities and Duties · Transport Vehicles: Safely move vehicles between different dealership locations, auction sites, or directly to customers. · Vehicle Inspection: Inspect vehicles for any damage before and after transportation to ensure they are in good condition. · Documentation: Manage and maintain all necessary paperwork related to vehicle transfers and deliveries. · Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service during vehicle Pick-ups, drop-off, or deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction. · Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean driving record. · Scheduling & Day to Day Communication: Adhere to delivery schedules and communicate effectively with company human resources, training team, dispatch, dealership staff, and customers. · Invoicing: Independent Contractors will be responsible for submitting Daily Invoices.
Qualifications
- 25 or older
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
- Clean Driving Record with no Suspended License
- CDL preferred but not required
- PC/Laptop
Working conditions The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside. The worker can be exposed to extreme heat/cold temperatures. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, i.e.: wind, rain, and humidity. Physical requirements · Regularly walk, run, and stand, particularly for sustained periods of time · Talk, hear audible alarms, voice commands with background noise · Use hands and fingers to grip/handle objects · Use close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjust focus, work in various light conditions · Maintain alertness for 4–8-hour shifts, maintain concentration/focus for 4-8 hours shifts · Occasionally bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist, getting in and out of customer vehicles · Ability to lift and or push up to 25 pounds with control Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
