Vice President – Client Services (Healthcare Market Research | New Business Lead) USA (Remote / Hybrid) Base Salary: $150,000 – $185,000 OTE: $300,000 – $370,000 First-Year Revenue Target: $750,000 – $1,000,000 About the Opportunity A leading global healthcare market research and insights organisation is seeking a Vice President – Client Services to lead new business acquisition across pharmaceutical and biotech clients . This is a senior hunter sales role , focused exclusively on driving new revenue, building client relationships, and expanding market presence within life sciences. Success in this role is measured by pipeline creation, deal closure, and revenue generation at scale . The Role As Vice President – Client Services, you will own the full new business sales cycle , from prospecting through to closing large, complex engagements. This is a highly commercial role requiring strong expertise in healthcare market research sales and the ability to engage senior stakeholders within pharma and biotech organisations. Key responsibilities include: New Business Development
- Drive
new client acquisition across pharma and biotech accounts
- Sell
full-service healthcare market research solutions
- Build and maintain a strong
enterprise-level pipeline
- Open new relationships with
senior decision-makers in insights, commercial, and strategy teams Sales Execution
- Lead complex
end-to-end sales cycles (prospecting → close)
- Manage high-value proposals and
commercial negotiations
- Consistently achieve a
$750K–$1M first-year revenue target
- Convert opportunities into long-term
strategic client partnerships Market & Client Engagement
- Represent the organisation in
client meetings and industry engagements
- Leverage and expand your
network within pharma and biotech
- Position full-service
market research and insights capabilities What We’re Looking For
- Must come from a
healthcare market research consultancy background
- Proven success in a
pure hunter / new business sales role
- Strong track record selling into
pharma and biotech clients
- Experience closing
large, complex enterprise deals ($100K+ typical engagements)
- Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed
revenue targets
- Strong existing network within
life sciences market research / insights teams
- Highly commercial, driven, and comfortable in a
