We're looking for an experienced Customer Engineering Manager to lead our automation testing team, focusing on Selenium and solutions engineering. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Engineering Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading a high-performing team of automation testing engineers, focusing on Selenium and solutions engineering
  • Collaborating with sales to drive revenue growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve team performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders
  • Identifying and addressing technical challenges, providing solutions and recommendations to improve testing capabilities
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and growth
  • Mentoring and developing team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success
  • Managing and prioritizing multiple projects and tasks, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 10-15 years of engineering experience in the B2B SaaS space, with a strong background in automation testing and solutions engineering
  • Prior experience as an Automation Test Manager or Lead, with hands-on expertise in Selenium
  • Experience in Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Consulting roles with a technical background
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
  • Hands-on knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Ruby, JavaScript)
  • Proficiency with development tools and IDEs (Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, Visual Studio, Maven, Git)
  • Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks (JUnit/NUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, NightWatchJS, WebDriverIO)
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Azure DevOps)
  • Understanding of networking and security protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, VPNs, IPsec, firewalls)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on improving collaboration in a fast-paced, high-dynamic team environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience with cloud-based testing platforms and tools
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible)
