About the Opportunity
As an Account Executive, Customer Base, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to our customers, developing and maintaining close relationships to educate them on the value and benefits of arenaflex products. You'll create further sales opportunities by leveraging team, solution, and value-based selling techniques. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the opportunities pipeline, focusing on incremental revenue by upselling and cross-selling to provide solutions to customers' evolving needs and challenges.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet or exceed individual and team revenue targets by developing qualified sales opportunities through up-sell and cross-sell to the existing customer base
- Initiate high levels of outbound prospecting activities, leveraging digital channels (email, video, etc.), and respond to inbound sales leads to convert them into new business
- Provide support to qualified prospects and customers, including follow-up, product information, and quotations
- Coordinate and orchestrate Dayforce resources to drive opportunities to closure, deliver sales wins, and close new business
- Maintain a solid working knowledge of arenaflex products and the benefits they provide
- Utilize modern selling and marketing techniques and tools to communicate effectively with customers, build relationships, and develop and close sales opportunities
- Effectively execute a territory plan and manage pipeline to maximize revenue
- Enter forecasting and account/opportunity details in Salesforce, providing weekly updates on dollar amounts, status, decision makers, and next steps in closing opportunities
- Propose, coordinate, and participate in marketing activities within the territory
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience We Value
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of sales experience
- Knowledge of HCM software or high-tech products/services is preferred, with a high preference for knowledge of arenaflex
- Proven track record of accomplished selling
- Proven ability to develop new sales and drive the sales process across teams
- Must have knowledge of solution selling and value-based selling techniques
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities and work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment
- High energy, proven sales closer within a technology or software sales environment
- Ability to engage with C-Suite, drive business discussions, identify company priorities/goals/strategies, and translate into the value arenaflex solutions can deliver to achieve business objectives
- Aptitude, desire, and commitment to leverage technology and digital selling tools (social, video, automation, etc.) to drive digital sales motion
- Proven ability to build pipeline (both self-gen activities and leveraging corporate marketing programs) to consistently over-achieve assigned quota
- Ability to execute against the arenaflex Digital Sales Process while managing multiple concurrent opportunities with close attention to detail
