Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for managing the Change of Agent process from initial client inquiry through compliance audit, order processing, and sending deliverables to the client. Your duties will include:
- Efficiently managing the Change of Agent process from initial client inquiry through compliance audit, order processing, and sending deliverables to the client, following up as necessary.
- Preparing and filing change and resignation of agent documents with various Secretaries of State, both online and via PDF, as required by each jurisdiction.
- Communicating effectively with teammates regarding any hold-ups or issues in the Change of Agent process.
- Managing and tracking the status of ongoing projects and submitted filings.
- Conducting entity compliance audits using Secretary of State websites and other agency resources (e.g., Department of Insurance).
- Maintaining filing fee and requirement reference charts; updating the forms library and state web links as needed.
- Assisting the manager in training new and existing employees; supporting other areas in the Client Services and Registered Agent Departments as needed.
- Developing, maintaining, and updating knowledge about the department, services, company, industry, and related departments such as sales, marketing, and accounting.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree and/or 2 years equivalent experience in customer service or the legal industry.
- Intermediate level skills with MS Office; Word, Excel, and Outlook are required.
