Role Responsibilities

As a Chat Assistant at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Assisting website visitors via live chat, providing clear and concise responses to their queries
  • Following structured conversation scripts to ensure consistency and efficiency in your responses
  • Escalating technical or billing questions to senior specialists, ensuring that complex issues are handled by experts
  • Keeping notes and labels updated for each conversation, providing a clear summary of the issue and resolution
  • Working in a self-selected schedule, with the flexibility to adjust your shifts based on your personal needs

What a Typical Shift Looks Like

You'll log into your browser-based chat system and begin receiving conversations based on your availability. Most reps handle 2-3 simultaneous chats using the tabbed interface, with no outbound messages or cold pitching required. You'll have access to supervisors and training documents at all times, and if you need help during a live chat, a quick flag will alert your team leader.

What You Need to Qualify

* No degree required

  • No previous job or support experience needed
  • Strong written communication and typing skills (35+ WPM)
  • Attention to detail and willingness to follow guidelines
  • Basic familiarity with websites and browser-based tools

Technical Requirements

* A computer or laptop with a reliable internet connection

  • Browser: Chrome or Firefox preferred
  • Headphones and webcam not required

How We Train You
