Job Summary
As a Temporary Customer Service Agent, you'll be responsible for making outbound and inbound calls to confirm, schedule, and reschedule participants' appointments with Benefit advisors. You'll work with customers who have or do not have an enrollment with the account, answer inbound calls pertaining to the status of an application or general customer inquiries, and respond to instant live chat requests from customers. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our clients' customers receive the support they need to make informed decisions about their Medicare health plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Making outbound and inbound calls to confirm, schedule, and reschedule participants' appointments with Benefit advisors
- Working with customers who have or do not have an enrollment with the account
- Answering inbound calls pertaining to the status of an application or general customer inquiries
- Responding to instant live chat requests from customers
- Assisting customers with website navigation and self-service options
- Performing other duties as assigned
Must-Have Qualifications
* High school degree or equivalent
- Ability to hardwire equipment and meet the required internet speeds
- 1+ years of customer service experience in a call center environment preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare health, prescription drug plan, vision, and dental enrollment is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication and rapport-building skills
- Experience and general comfort level using Microsoft Word, Excel, computer telephony, the internet, and computer tools
- Active listening skills to understand both verbal and non-verbal cues
- Ability to utilize research options
- Confidence and resilience during challenging interactions
- Ability to accurately document all conversations and actions taken
- Possesses the ability to talk and type efficiently simultaneously
- Ability to multitask across multi-functional work
- On-camera visibility during any meetings, trainings, or per leadership request
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience working with Medicare enrollments
- Strong understanding of Medicare health plans and benefits
- Experience working in a remote call center environment
- Familiarity with computer telephony and internet-based tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Training and Onboarding
* Training length: 3 weeks
- Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm EST
- 100% mandatory with no time off approved
- Training will cover essential skills, product knowledge, and company policies
Pay and Benefits
* Pay rate: $18/hour
- Holidays: Thanksgiving Day (11/27), Christmas (12/25), and New Year's Day (1/1)
