Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Success Manager, you'll be responsible for building trusted relationships with mid-market automotive customers and dealership decision-makers. Your primary objectives will be to drive onboarding, training, and strategic check-ins that focus on practical outcomes and ROI. You'll also support customers in leveraging AI-powered lead handling and marketing automation tools, act quickly and independently to resolve issues, and monitor customer health to identify risks or upsell opportunities proactively. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building trusted relationships with mid-market automotive customers and dealership decision-makers
  • Driving onboarding, training, and strategic check-ins with a focus on practical outcomes and ROI
  • Supporting customers in leveraging AI-powered lead handling and marketing automation tools
  • Acting quickly and independently to resolve issues—bringing in internal resources as needed
  • Monitoring customer health and identifying risks or upsell opportunities proactively
  • Coordinating success planning, business reviews, and renewal processes for assigned accounts
  • Contributing to the playbook for growing the Auto vertical, sharing trends and customer insights internally

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique blend of skills, experience, and passion. Here are some of the key requirements:

  • 4–6+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or client-facing roles in automotive tech
  • Direct dealership experience or strong familiarity with retail dealership operations (required)
  • Experience with SaaS tools, automotive CRMs, or digital marketing platforms
  • Proven ability to manage accounts independently and proactively solve customer challenges
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and relationship-building skills
  • Tech-savvy with comfort navigating multiple tools (Salesforce, Looker, Google Workspace); familiarity with automotive CRMs is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel periodically based on customer and business needs

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

As a Customer Success Manager at arenaflex, you can expect a competitive compensation package that includes:

  • Base pay ranging from $85,000 - $100,000 per year
  • 20% variable bonus for an expected On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $102,000 - $120,000 per year
