Responsibilities and Duties

As a Customer Support Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the best possible experience with our platform. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a helpful and caring customer service experience over inbound and outbound chat and email support of varying complexity by responding to customer requests, anticipating unstated needs, and educating them on our product.
  • Proactively identifying, analyzing, and resolving client issues by utilizing active listening and critical thinking to provide a resolution with a focus on the customer relationship.
  • Exhibiting strong written/verbal communication skills, excelling at customer interaction, and delivering practical solutions.
  • Continuously learning, interpreting, and utilizing company and industry knowledge, practices, and procedures to deliver accurate and up-to-date solutions.
  • Updating and maintaining the company knowledge base and YouTube videos.
  • Developing and maintaining positive client relations and working collaboratively with other departments within the company to ensure client requests and questions are appropriately handled in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience Required for this Role

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • To be available to work US hours (EST, CST, MST, PST, AKST, HST, ART, UTC -4, UTC -4:30, UTC -3, UTC -2).
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer support role.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn and navigate complex systems.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
  • The ability to operate with understanding, active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness to customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to independently handle routine and complex client inquiries.
  • A people-focused approach and solution mindset, with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management, planning, and organizing tasks.
  • The ability to work from home in a distraction-free environment.
  • A reliable, high-speed internet connection.

Bonus Skills

While not required, experience using Intercom, Hubspot, and Jira will be a plus.
