Job Description

As an Experienced Customer Sales Manager at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and category excellence for our customers. You will be responsible for leading the sales efforts for specific categories, building strong relationships with customers, and delivering business results through effective category management and sales strategies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Effectively partner with customers to understand their business needs, market trends, and growth opportunities, and develop strategies to drive positive business outcomes.
  • Achieve New Item Authorization goals, Distribution goals, and Base Business Objectives, including Revenue and Share Growth, Authorizations, Distribution, and Optimal Shelving.
  • Lead the implementation of Space Management Projects to optimize customer shelf space and drive sales growth.
  • Develop and execute promotional revenue objectives by tactic, price point, Drive Period, and Selling Event, while effectively implementing arenaflex pricing strategies for owned categories.
  • Collaborate with the Retail Team to lead retail execution of all assigned category objectives and drive sales growth.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed business documentation to track business transactions and ensure compliance with arenaflex policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Category Management, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven years of experience in customer management, account management, and/or retail sales management, preferably in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • A strong sales background with an excellent understanding of business processes and Category Management principles.
  • Experience in applying a customer-first mentality to drive effective customer management and sales growth.
  • The ability to work independently and within a team framework to plan, organize, and set/achieve priorities.
  • Polished interpersonal skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze category and brand performance data and develop comprehensive business plans.
  • Willingness to travel 5-7 times per year for customer meetings and sales calls.

  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth and category excellence.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • New Hire Base Salary Range: $102,100.00 - $127,600.00
  • Performance-based bonus, with opportunities to earn up to 20% of base salary.
