Job Summary
arenaflex is seeking an experienced Non-Clinical Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, resolving their queries, and ensuring their needs are met. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, offering a competitive salary and opportunities for career growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to daily member telephone calls, providing guidance and support to resolve their queries and concerns.
- Direct members to the appropriate services, educate them on available options, and facilitate linkages to the Medical Management Department for authorization of services.
- Assist providers with eligibility, benefit, and resolution of claims issues.
- Participate in ongoing member education and training to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with Medical Management, Provider Relations, and Quality Departments to coordinate quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned to maintain efficient operations of the department and the organization as a whole.
Essential Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in a call center environment, with a strong focus on customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bilingual applicants preferred.
- Spanish speaking skills required; proficiency in other languages an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting performance metrics and quality standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with members and providers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a customer service or call center environment, with a strong focus on resolving complex issues.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, with proficiency in multiple languages.
- Experience working in a healthcare or insurance environment, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and concepts.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, with a strong focus on adaptability and flexibility.
