Key Responsibilities:
As a Customer Experience Advocate, you'll play a critical role in connecting individuals with the resources they need to thrive. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Proactively reaching out to individuals via phone to offer help and support according to program requirements
- Working closely with a collaborative team of people who share our passion for making a difference
- Being a key contributor to improving the lives of millions of people by connecting them with the support they need to thrive
- Utilizing various tech tools to enhance your work and make a greater impact
- Facilitating and navigating tough or emotional conversations with empathy and compassion
- Building relationships and trust through conversations
- Being detail-oriented and committed to getting the job done
- Efficiently managing your time and prioritizing tasks to meet competing demands
- Being metric-driven and focused on successfully connecting individuals to help
- Embracing growth and development opportunities, and viewing constructive feedback as a chance to polish your skills
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- At least 1 year of outbound customer experience in a call center, claims, benefits, fundraising, or healthcare scheduling practices
- A passion for mental health and emotional wellbeing, behavioral health, community outreach, resources, healthcare, or active volunteerism
- An obvious sense of urgency and purpose
- Demonstrated excellence in providing outstanding customer service over the phone and via email
- Motivation to help others and alignment with our organizational mission and vision
- Excellent interpersonal skills (communication and listening), especially over the phone, and a willingness to receive feedback
- A college graduate or Associate's degree in a customer-related field
- Interest in working remotely and residing in AR, AZ, FL, GA, IL, KY, MA, MD, MN, NC, NE, NV, OH, SC, TN, TX, VA, or WI
