Job Summary

As a Live Chat Remote Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing timely and efficient customer service through online chat on our clients' websites and social media channels. Your duties will include answering customer inquiries, offering promotional discounts, and providing helpful resources and information. You'll be a valued member of our team, playing a crucial role in creating a positive customer experience and driving sales.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to live chat messages from customers on our clients' websites and social media channels

  • Answer customer inquiries, provide product information, and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Offer promotional discounts and provide helpful resources and information to customers
  • Collaborate with our team to resolve complex customer issues and provide exceptional support experiences
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and best practices in customer support
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, communications, business) preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a live chat or call center environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customer bases
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Proficiency in using technology, including social media and website chat functions
  • Reliable internet connection and a device able to access online chat functions (phone, tablet, laptop)
  • Availability to work a minimum of 5 hours per week, with flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other support tools
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in customer support
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
