Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service - Self Storage Manager, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing our self-storage facilities, and driving sales and revenue growth. You'll work independently at multiple locations, interacting with customers, and ensuring that our facilities are clean, secure, and well-maintained. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Manage our self-storage facilities, ensuring that they are clean, secure, and well-maintained
  • Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, and make suggestions to customers on storage solutions
  • Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with company policies
  • Help customers stay current with payments, making reminder and collection calls when required
  • Sell packing and moving supplies to customers, and provide recommendations on storage solutions
  • Perform daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris
  • Utilize your own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business (mileage reimbursement available)

Physical Requirements

* Ability to transport, lift, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds

  • Ability to walk in/around facilities, spending up to 50% of your time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors
  • Ability to perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris

Qualifications

* Experience in customer service-centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies

  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business (mileage reimbursement available)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport items weighing up to 35 pounds
