Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Remote Call Center team in Kentucky. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to citizens of Kentucky, assisting them with various health benefits, including SNAP, Medicaid, and TNAF. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple call types, and navigating complex systems to input and read/interpret data for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer multiple call types focused on assisting Kentucky citizens with various health benefits, including password resets, application status, application intake/updates, and navigating the government's online application tool.

  • Deal with multiple systems to input and read/interpret data back to the caller, often handling difficult calls related to SNAP and other benefits.
  • Maintain professionalism throughout the call, regardless of the caller's demeanor or the complexity of the issue.
  • Adhere to a break and lunch schedule, set by our global Workforce team, to ensure seamless call handling and efficient use of resources.
  • Meet goals related to valid transfers, Quality Assurance, and Customer Satisfaction Surveys, as defined by our client and reported on weekly.
  • Perform tasks based on established procedures, using data organizing and coordination skills to ensure accurate and efficient call handling.

Requirements

* 1 year minimum experience in High Volume Call Centers

  • 1 year minimum Customer Service Experience
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Background and drug screening required
  • Ability to adhere to a break and lunch schedule
  • Excellent typing and grammar skills
  • Ability to navigate a computer
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette skills
  • Reliable internet access
  • Quiet work environment, free of distractions
  • Must reside in the State of Kentucky for this position

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with government programs, such as SNAP and Medicaid

  • Familiarity with online application tools and systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Competitive salary of $16.50 per hour, paid bi-weekly
