Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to work remotely as part of our arenaflex team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and clients, handling high-volume customer inquiries, and working closely with our healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery. Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize arenaflex's solution information section methodology and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the proper system.
  • Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
  • Investigate to obtain missing medication data, and decipher clinical shortenings (SIG codes).
  • Settle all information section-related special cases.
  • Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound decisions to prescribers and patients as necessary.
  • Settle external exceptions by assessing, gathering data, making revisions, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement requirements.
  • Make phone calls to support plans and others to obtain data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise settle the external exceptions.
  • Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations.
  • Identify and convey issues to senior-level staff as necessary.
  • Acquire a dynamic pharmacist license or certification within the initial 90 days and maintain a current pharmacist license or certification.

Essential Capabilities

  • Basic computer skills (e.g., start and shut down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and shut down programs, switch between programs, save files, print reports, or access data online).
  • Basic web search skills to include opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct field, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
  • Moderate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing reports).
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Preferred Capabilities

  • At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment.
  • No less than one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy professional with a license/certification by state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or widely recognized certification agency.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Moderate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing reports).
  • Familiarity with Spanish and English.
