Job Summary
As a Chat Operator, you'll be responsible for engaging with customers through online conversations, providing exceptional customer service, and turning conversations into leads that drive revenue for our clients. You'll work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, and you'll be expected to meet or exceed performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with customers through online conversations, providing exceptional customer service and support
- Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and turn conversations into leads that drive revenue for our clients
- Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response time, resolution rate, and lead generation
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
- Work from home in a quiet, dedicated workspace with minimal distractions
Requirements
* Must live within the state of Kansas
- Must have your own computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse
- Computer must have a minimum of 8 GB of RAM, 64-bit Operating System, and 8th Generation Intel Core (3 equivalent or higher)
- Quiet, dedicated work space free from distractions
- Able to attend 4 weeks of remote training, Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 11am-7:30pm EDT
- Must be able to type at least 35 WPM, 40 and above is preferred
- Gaming experience is preferred
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or chat environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (communications, marketing, business, etc.)
- 2+ years of customer service experience in a call center or chat environment
- Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools
- Strong knowledge of the automotive industry and its trends
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
Skills and Competencies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong typing skills (35 WPM minimum, 40 WPM preferred)
- Gaming experience is preferred
