Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, registering sales, and assisting with pharmacy operations. You'll work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service and support. Key Responsibilities
* Models and offers a unique and delightful customer experience
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides clients with courteous, honest, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- Assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the exercise of pharmacy, accountable for the use of pharmacy systems to attain patient and drug facts and procedure prescriptions
- Engages clients and patients by greeting them and supplying help with products and services, resolves customer issues and solutions inquiries to ensure a superb customer experience
- Fashions and stocks customer support first-rate practices with all team contributors to deliver extraordinary and delightful customer enjoyment
- Presents clients with courteous, friendly, speedy, and green carriers
- Recommends objects for sale to consumers and recommends alternate-up and/or partner items
- Registers patron purchases on assigned cash sign-in, collects coins and distributes trade as asked; approaches voids, returns, rain exams, refunds, and exchanges as wanted
- Maintains counters and cabinets smoothly and well merchandised, takes stock and continues records
- Exams in and costs merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or communicated by the shift leader
- Plays responsibilities as assigned by Pharmacy supervisor, workforce Pharmacist, and store manager, using pharmacy structures to enter patient and drug records, ensuring facts are entered efficiently, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical pills, verifying medicine is accurate, and checking for possible interactions
- Reviews, right now, prescription mistakes to pharmacists on duty and adheres to business guidelines and procedures on the subject of pharmacy errors and good development software
- Strictly adheres to the arenaflex Policy regarding proper faith dispensing during all applicable prescription dispensing activities
- Handles Smartphone calls that don't require personal attention of the pharmacist, such as those to physicians
- Approaches (corrects and resubmits) manual claims for third-party program prescription services in a well-timed and efficient manner, and plays other clerical responsibilities, as assigned by the pharmacy manager
- Assists and supports the Pharmacy Department on inventory control activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing cargo of pharmaceuticals
- Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products)
- Constructs and maintains shows, including promotional, seasonal, grand structures, and sale products
- Assists with the separation of food items (e.g., raw ingredients from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by rules/techniques (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves)
- Has working knowledge of store systems and store devices
- Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photograph service, poster print, and creative system, suggestive sell of promotional picture merchandise
- Assumes web pick-up duties (video displays orders in Picture Care Plus, fills orders (pick items), supplies orders to customers as they come to the store)
- Assists with outside and interior maintenance by ensuring smooth, neat, orderly condition and appearance
- Complies with all company guidelines and processes; keeps respectful relationships with coworkers
- Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned
Education & Personal Development
* Earns and maintains percent certification through the precise percent education program and/or state-required certification/registration
- Attends training and completes PPLs asked by a manager or assigned by corporate and acquires continuing education credit
- Maintains understanding and skills in healthcare and pharmacy, including state-of-the-art information and traits
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail environment preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy systems
Preferred Qualifications
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., pharmacy, healthcare, business)

- Certification in pharmacy or a related field (e.g., PTCB, NHA)
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures
