Job Summary

As a Medical Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the primary point of contact for our members, providing exceptional support and advocacy to ensure they receive the care they need. You'll work closely with healthcare providers, advocacy groups, and community organizations to identify and resolve access barriers, promote member education, and drive positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities

* Act as an advocate for our members, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard

  • Establish strong relationships with healthcare providers, advocacy groups, and community organizations to promote member education and access to care
  • Identify and resolve systemic barriers that limit members' access to appropriate care, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Receive and respond to member complaints and formal grievances, following established procedures to resolve issues and improve member satisfaction
  • Investigate and resolve access and cultural sensitivity issues identified by member services staff, state staff, providers, advocacy organizations, and recipients
  • Participate in local community organizations to acquire knowledge and insight regarding special healthcare needs of members and update educational materials as needed
  • Serve as primary contact for member advocacy groups, human services agencies, and state entities, providing expert guidance and support
  • Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3 years of customer service experience in a healthcare environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications

Preferred Qualifications

* Medicare and/or Medicaid experience

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, such as seniors, children, or individuals with disabilities
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations
