Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Customer Services Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service support to our clients, while also undergoing comprehensive training to become a Health Care Associate at arenaflex. This role involves working under close supervision, with specific tasks assigned for completion, and requires a strong focus on customer service, professionalism, patience, and a people-first attitude. You will be trained to handle customer inquiries, provide complete and accurate answers, and de-escalate conflicts. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other call center representatives to improve customer service and work in a fast-paced environment where change and ambiguity are prevalent.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service support to clients, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and de-escalating conflicts

  • Collaborate with other call center representatives to improve customer service and share best practices
  • Guide callers through requirements to process a pharmacy benefit investigation
  • Field customer calls to provide complete and accurate answers to all queries and concerns
  • Perform other related duties as needed, including working under close supervision with specific tasks assigned for completion
  • Participate in comprehensive training to become a Health Care Associate at arenaflex, including learning about general healthcare processes, rules and regulations, and patient confidentiality

Essential Qualifications

* 3+ years of experience working in a direct-to-consumer or customer environment

  • High School diploma or equivalency required
  • Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Positive demeanor and clear understanding of professional boundaries with clients (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
  • An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation
  • Ability to follow explicit directives
  • Intrinsic motivation, client-driven service disposition, excellent time management skills, team approach, and basic computer skills
  • Schedule flexibility with holiday and weekend rotation may be required
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

* 2 years of higher learning education

  • Previous work experience in a highly dynamic and changing environment
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits become effective the first day of the month following 30 days of employment
  • Employees are fully vested in their 401(k) after 90 days of employment
  • PTO is preloaded; not accrued. New employees are prorated 100 hours of PTO (12.5 days) and then increased to 140 hours (17.5 days) upon anniversary
  • Tenure vacation bonus: $1,000 upon 3-year anniversary and $2,500 upon 5-year anniversary
