The Role
We're seeking a part-time Customer Support Representative to join our team for weekend overnight shifts (approximately 10pm-7am Friday and Saturday nights). As a key member of our support team, you'll be responsible for:
- Configuring and troubleshooting wired and wireless network issues for customers over the phone
- Recognizing and understanding how to configure customers' equipment to connect to the Internet via a wireless router, including connecting standard consumer electronic devices
- Providing exceptional customer service, educating customers on product and service usage, and recommending products and services to meet customer needs
- Conducting follow-up calls to customers with recent completed service requests or calls
- Replying to customer email inquiries
- Working with customers to sign up for new service and resolve basic billing issues
- Troubleshooting advanced networking protocols within the company network
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous networking or telephone customer service/support experience
- A basic understanding of computer hardware and software, as well as consumer wireless routers
- High ethical standards, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork, respect for others, and group decisions
- The ability to solve problems with patience and a positive approach
- Self-motivation, attention to detail, and organizational skills to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will make you an even stronger candidate:
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services
