Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and support of our cloud-based data pipelines. As a key member of our Data Engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that drive business insights and inform strategic decision making. Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using a range of technologies, including Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, and data marts to support business insights and analytics
- Work with data scientists and analysts to deliver high-quality data sets and support data-driven decision making
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to ensure data pipelines are running smoothly and efficiently
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure code quality, security, and compliance with arenaflex standards
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Strong knowledge of Python and SQL, with experience working with Snowflake and PostgreSQL
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and data mart design principles
- Experience with automated workflows and schedulers, such as Docker and GitLab
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Hadoop or Spark
- Proficiency in cloud design and product development, with experience working with AWS
- Experience with source control management, such as GitLab or GitHub
- Experience with Docker and containerization
