Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative I, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to customers opening and maintaining deposit accounts, while suggesting and explaining our products and services. You'll work in a fast-paced office environment, interacting with customers, co-workers, and management to ensure seamless delivery of our services. Key Responsibilities
* Open and maintain deposit accounts, ensuring accurate and timely execution of all CIP requirements
- Understand and explain all products and services accurately when offered to customers
- Open new deposit accounts and execute all CIP requirements
- Maintain deposit accounts as requested, including updating accounts, ordering checks, and other tasks
- Discuss and resolve questions and concerns with customers, providing exceptional customer service
- Engage with customers in a caring and respectful manner, building long-lasting relationships
- Image work documents timely and accurately as required daily
Essential Qualifications
* Minimum one (1) year of proven customer service experience
- Previous experience in banking and knowledge of banking processes preferred
- Basic clerical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- High school diploma or GED required
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of bank products, services, and regulatory requirements preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
- Working knowledge of applicable computer systems
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment managing multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
