Responsibilities

As a Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing expert support to customers via phone, addressing their questions and concerns related to bookkeeping software processes, ledger entry, navigation, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrating proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software, ensuring seamless navigation and efficient issue resolution.
• Collaborating with customers to understand their needs, providing personalized solutions, and escalating complex issues to senior support specialists when necessary.
• Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, including issue resolution, customer feedback, and product recommendations.
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest bookkeeping software features, best practices, and industry trends.
• Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and address customer pain points, improving overall customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

* Technical Skills: + Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software. + Strong understanding of bookkeeping/accounting principles, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and other relevant concepts. + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical issues.

• Soft Skills:

+ Customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality support and building strong relationships with customers. + Strong ownership of customer issues, with the ability to take control of situations and provide confident resolution. + Friendly tone and professional demeanor, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Work Environment:

+ Quiet, uninterrupted space with a dedicated desk area. + Reliable internet connection, with a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps. + Valid antivirus software installed, running, and up-to-date. + Wired USB headset with microphone.

* Contractual Relationship: As an independent contractor, you'll remain responsible for your own taxes, benefits, and other employment-related matters.

• Location: This role is remote, and you must live and work from the United States, except for California, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington.
