Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java developer to join our Customer Systems team. As a Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software systems that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software systems, and for identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient software systems using Java and related technologies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs

• Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to colleagues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply that knowledge to improve our software systems

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• 2+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on designing and developing scalable and efficient software systems
• Strong understanding of Java and related technologies, including Spring, REST, and multi-threading
• Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

• 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on designing and developing scalable and efficient software systems
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS and Azure
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins and Docker
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Strong understanding of security principles and practices, including secure coding and threat modeling
