About the Role

Responsible for successful Launch on New and Carry Over Programs, CR/CN implementation, VAVE’s management, internal & external transfers, outsourcings, special projects execution (dual sourcing, increase capacity, flexibilities). Early engagement with AME department, starting M4 Gate. Must apply the philosophy of HPS. Developing the Harman skills in employees. Responsible for the results of indicators: Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost, for the new product, until EOL projects. What You Will Do · Responsible for attending recurring meetings, both internal and external for project progress and new launches. · Coordinate the generation and release of all appropriate documentation: PFMEAS, Flow Charts, Control Plans, Visual Aids, etc. during the different stages of the project. · Responsible to collect and organize the required evidence to support M Gates reviews. · Develop comprehensive timelines to track and communicate the project progress according to customer and internal timings · Manage and coordinate the implementation of engineering changes with the CFT according to CN/CR process. · Comply with the review of the status of PLM. · Coordinate and document the engineering runs required during launch phase (Tooling run, Control run 1, 2, PV run, etc). · Follow up with Program Manager the outstanding point of the CR/ PV runs. · Represent the needs of the customer in internal functions according to the requirements of the Quality System and Customer Specific Requirements applicable · Coordinate the new models first running, maturity gates, compliance assurance. · Participate in kaizen workshops and other continuous improvement activities such as scrap reduction, UPH improvement and OEE. · Support to manufacturing area as required. · Coordinate with Packaging Engineer the design and approval of new packaging · Coordinate the implementation of VAVE, Flexibility, Site Transfers and Dual Sourcing initiatives. · Participates and provides support related with quality and EHSS systems management, objectives, targets, and programs. · Drive results, manage and coordinate activities with launch engineers + technicians. · Responsible to work closely with Manufacturing Engineering (AME), Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and teams for Bill of Process (BOP) · Create risk assessments by program phase · Apply Problem Solving Methodologies in a continuous improvement environment. · Lead Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR) · Participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full development and integration activities. · Provide support to any additional activity that MBU Manager can assig related to New Product Introduction or Mass Production. · Track expenses of the project according to budget · Participate in internal and external (Customer / IATF) audits. · Create and track ramp up plans along with KPI’s during SOP+90 phase · Coordinate build out process. What You Need to Be Successful · Integrity, Innovation, Inclusion, Excellence, Teamwork and Respect. · Bachelor’s degree on Industrial Engineer/Electronic/Electromechanical or similar. · Experience in Engineering Changes and documentation control. · 5+ years of prior experience in automotive manufacturing environment. · 3+ years of prior experience coordinating new projects (automotive: Ford, GM, Stellantis among others) · Prior experience managing a team, direct or indirect reports · English 90%, Advance English level (reading and writing that allow fluid presentations). · Efficient communication skills to manage CFT activities. · Core Tools knowledge · Experience in SAP · APQP · Experience in Quality Management Standards (ISO /IATF 16949 or similar) · Experience working with Customer Specific Requirements (preference experience with FORD projects) · Leadership, Change Oriented Collaboration, Analytical. Judgment and Result Driven · Flexible attitude and strong initiative. · Experience using MS Project · Customer Applications and Portal · Excellent listening, comprehension & interpersonal skills as responsible for daily communication via email and phone calls required · Problem solving experience. · Able to plan and organize subordinates.
