About the Role
We are looking for a Freelance Career Coach to provide independent coaching services to students. This is a freelance/independent contractor framework (6-month engagement with possible extension) in which you will be the primary career contact for students, guiding them through their job search journey and ensuring they get the most out of Le Wagon's career services. You will work closely with Marta (Head of Careers) and the rest of the Careers Team, and will also play an active role in B2B business development and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Student Support Serve as the main point of contact for your assigned students Conduct regular follow-ups with your assigned students and provide personalised one-on-one career coaching Hold individual sessions covering: CV review, LinkedIn optimisation, job search strategy, interview preparation, and other relevant topics Programme Delivery Plan and execute career activities for students: workshops, events, and Alumni Q&As Ensure students understand and comply with program requirements, including tracking attendance and checking assignment submissions Delivering structured 1-on-1 career coaching sessions, facilitating specific professional workshops, and providing targeted local market insights. Ensure outcome forms are completed accurately to support job placement rate reporting Contribute to global content creation and community management Business Development & Partnerships Build and nurture B2B relationships with hiring partners and companies Curate high-quality candidate lists for Hiring Partners and share relevant job opportunities with students Identify and develop new partnership opportunities to expand Le Wagon's network Represent Le Wagon at external events to support the sales and admissions process Profile Prior experience in career coaching, recruitment, HR, or a similar role Familiarity with the German tech job market Excellent communication skills in English (German and/or French is a strong plus) Experience in or appetite for B2B business development and partnerships is a strong plus Highly organised, able to manage a high volume of students and interactions simultaneously Proficient with tools like Notion, Slack, Calendly, and Google Workspace Contract 6-month freelance engagement with possible extension Flexible availability based on student cohort schedules and coaching demand.
