Sr. Director of Trade and Distribution

Location: This position may be performed remotely, but requires the flexibility and willingness to travel as needed. The Opportunity The Senior Director, Trade & Distribution will lead execution of Praxis’ end-to-end trade and distribution strategy as the company advances toward commercialization. This role supports both rare disease and broader neurology launches, ensuring distribution, data, and partner ecosystems are operationally ready, compliant, and aligned to patient access and financial goals. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can translate strategy into execution, manage complexity across multiple workstreams, and drive launch readiness in a fast-moving environment. Primary Responsibilities Execute trade and distribution strategies across rare disease and broader market channel models Lead implementation and oversight of 3PL partners, including inventory flow, order-to-cash, reverse logistics, and SLA management Support selection, onboarding, and operational management of specialty pharmacy partners Drive implementation of data aggregation capabilities across 3PLs, specialty pharmacies, and digital pharmacy partners Ensure serialization readiness, DSCSA compliance, and audit preparedness across products Serve as the primary operational lead across external trade, distribution, and data partners Partner cross-functionally with Market Access, Finance, Patient Services, and IT to ensure aligned execution and launch readiness Qualifications and Key Success Factors Qualifications 8–12+ years of experience in trade, distribution, market access, or specialty pharmacy Experience supporting commercial launches, ideally across rare disease and/or broader specialty markets Experience managing 3PLs, specialty pharmacy networks, and complex cross-functional implementations Strong understanding of channel strategy, commercialization infrastructure, and data flows Key Success Factors Strong executor who can turn strategy into action and drive decisions under real-world constraints High ownership and accountability with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously Clear, direct communicator who builds effective cross-functional and external partnerships Sound judgment and problem-solving skills in ambiguous, fast-paced environments Comfortable operating with low hierarchy, high autonomy, and candid feedback What Sets Successful Praxons Apart You challenge assumptions, surface risks early, and engage in healthy debate to improve outcomes You learn quickly, build context fast, and thrive in unfamiliar territory You balance urgency with rigor—moving quickly without compromising what matters most You care deeply about impact and keep patients at the center of decisions The physical and mental requirements of our roles include but are not limited to regular use of a computer, devices or other office equipment, clear communication, and occasional movement. To round out our world-class total rewards package, we provide annualized base salary compensation in the range listed below. This range reflects the base salary the Company reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of posting. Placement within the range will be based on job-related factors, including experience, qualifications, scope of responsibilities, and demonstrated track record of delivering results in similar roles.
