Altra - Field Service Representative - Boston

As our Field Service Representative in the Boston area, you’ll bring this to life by championing our brand across New England. From local run clubs to retail partnerships, you’ll create meaningful experiences that inspire movement, build loyalty, and grow our presence in a region that lives and breathes the outdoors. You’ll be out in the field often! While this is a remote role, living in the greater Boston area will help you stay connected to the people and places that bring the Altra brand to life. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Active the Altra brand across your New England territory through authentic connections, thoughtful activations, and hands-on support. Build strong relationships with retailers through in-person visits, demos, and sales floor support Deliver engaging product education that builds confidence and enthusiasm among retail staff and consumers Create excitement around Altra through local partnerships, run clubs, events, and community engagement Execute merchandising and promotional activations that elevate the in-store experience Represent Altra at local and select national races, events, and expos Partner closely with Sales Representatives and cross-functional teams to bring go-to-market plans to life Act as the eyes and ears of the brand by sharing insights on product feedback, consumer behavior, and market trends Maintain accurate field reporting and manage field assets, travel, and expenses with strong attention to detail WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE: You’ll make a measurable impact by growing both relationships and brand presence in your territory. Retail partners feel confident selling Altra and actively advocate for the brand Community engagement drives awareness, trial, and long-term loyalty Territory performance grows year over year, supported by strong execution of service plans Field activities align with business goals, timelines, and service metrics Challenges are approached with curiosity and used to improve and evolve best practices WHAT YOU'LL BRING: You’re energized by people, product, and purpose—and you know how to turn connections into momentum. 1+ year of specialty retail experience (run or outdoor preferred) 2+ years in marketing, sales, or a customer-facing field role Experience fitting and selling technical footwear Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Ability to work independently while staying connected to a broader team A proactive, self-starter mindset with a passion for the running and outdoor community Familiarity with Altra products is a plus WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: We’ll set you up for success with the tools and knowledge you need to thrive! Deep expertise across the Altra product line Best practices for supporting retailers, events, and community activations How to navigate and leverage Field Service systems and tools Hiring Range: $60,000.00 USD - $75,000.00 USD annually Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
