Company Overview Our client is a profitable U.S. B2B SaaS company that has been in market for over ten years, serving property managers and field workers through two mobile apps used by tens of thousands of people every day. The company is around 20 people, with 9 across engineering and product, has scaled without outside investment, and is adding to the team. Your Role You'll join as the second full-time mobile engineer on a two-person team, partnering day-to-day with the Mobile Lead and reporting to the Head of Engineering. The work spans React Native, Swift, and Kotlin across two production apps with real users and a long-lived codebase. The team makes product and architecture decisions through ongoing conversation, and engineers participate in those discussions alongside the Mobile Lead, Head of Engineering, CEO, and product and design teammates. You'll: Build and ship features across two React Native apps Maintain and extend Swift and Kotlin bridge modules Ship signed iOS and Android releases on a two-week cadence Debug production issues across both platforms Participate in product and architecture discussions across the team You Bring: 5+ years in mobile engineering, with 3+ in production React Native Swift and/or Kotlin fluency for native bridge module work Hands-on App Store and Play Console release experience At least one React Native version upgrade on a long-lived codebase Clear English for design documents, code reviews, and product discussions Bonus Points: React Native new architecture (JSI, TurboModules, Hermes) Offline-first sync experience with Realm, WatermelonDB, or SQLite Hardware SDK integration on mobile Mobile geospatial or maps work LLM-powered mobile feature experience Mobile CI/CD (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise) What's Offered: Market guide: ~$60,000–$90,000 USD/year based on experience and location Full-time contractor (around 40 hours per week, paid weekly in USD) Fully remote, with at least 50% overlap with U.S. Pacific time 2 weeks paid time off, plus 8 local holidays Company-provided laptop and occasional team trips Direct work with the CEO, Head of Engineering, and Mobile Lead Interview Process: 1️⃣ Discovery call with Talent (30 min) 2️⃣ Technical interview with Mobile Lead (60 min) 3️⃣ Conversation with CEO and Head of Engineering (30 to 45 min each) 4️⃣ Offer stage Apply To This Job
