Senior Proposal Associate Labcorp is seeking a remote Senior Proposal Associate to join our team. Job Responsibilities: Supports or manages all aspects of the appropriate proposal/budget process for all levels of complexity (text, quote, budget, response to Requests for Information [RFIs], financial analysis and database analysis) for assigned/accountable opportunities (inclusive of managing opportunities autonomously, establishing clear timelines, meeting client requirement, proving answers and resolving obstacles with appropriate support Analyzes RFI and/or Request for Proposal (RFP) documents to assist in identifying missing information for budget, proposal and/or RFI response preparation, with support. Supports follow-up with appropriate contact for additional information as required. Shadow or manage strategic and operational calls related to the opportunity Administratively supports facilitating internal and external opportunity management negotiations (i.e., pricing, process, resources, timelines, etc.) as needed Support client-facing and senior management-facing activities surrounding assigned opportunities as needed, including supporting preparation, attendance, or leading applicable preparation and meetings Escalates issues/challenges to Manager for advice on resolution Performs timely and accurate data entry into departmental and/or corporate databases/systems as directed Contributes to assigned client relationship improvement activities as well as process improvement initiatives and supports implementation Perform quality control activities per the appropriate process/requirements Expected to contribute to content library by submitting added content or updates to existing content, using the official content submission process Develops appropriate knowledge of the technical and regulatory environments Completes other appropriate duties, as assigned by the manager, which require similar skills in accordance with business needs and common sense. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Economics, Clinical research, Pharmacy, Biology or Chemistry; Preferred Qualifications: 3 or more years’ experience in a health science or clinical research or pharmaceutical field; Additional Job Standards: Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with internal stakeholders, clients and Labcorp senior management Knowledge of proposal management software applications (e.g., Salesforce.com, Proposal Automation applications) is preferred Demonstrated text editing and writing skills (based on business unit and/or team expectations) Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize Demonstrated teamwork, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills Proven ability to work independently Ability to work to deadlines Strong analytical skills Positive attitude and sense of urgency Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours as needed to accommodate global schedules or meet the client’s delivery needs. Pay Range $68,000 - $78,000 annually All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
