Health Safety and Sustainability Engineer (ergonomics engineer) AST What you’ll do: The Ergonomic Engineer is responsible for designing, evaluating, and improving work systems, tools, and environments to optimize human performance, health, safety, and productivity. This role applies ergonomic principles, human factors engineering, and data-driven risk assessment methods to reduce musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), improve employee well-being, and support operational excellence. The Ergonomic Engineer works cross‑functionally with operations, engineering, health and safety, and human resources to embed ergonomics into workplace design and continuous improvement initiatives. What is required: Previous Experience Ergonomic application Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional environment. Familiarity with digital tools and technology-driven workflows. Commitment to safety standards, ethics, and continuous learning. Safety Engineer → Reporting / Analytics role. ISO14 / ISO45 Audit application. Experience in multi-plant or global environments.
